1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our website and storage services within the United Arab Emirates. They outline the rights and responsibilities of both the customer and Short Term Storage LLC.
2. Eligibility & Use of Services
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enter into a storage agreement.
- Our services are intended solely for personal and commercial storage.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during booking or registration.
- Any false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of service.
3. Prohibited Items
To ensure safety and legal compliance, storing the following items is strictly prohibited:
- Flammable, explosive, or hazardous materials (e.g., fuel, propane, paint)
- Illegal goods (e.g., narcotics, unlicensed firearms, stolen property)
- Living beings (animals, humans), biological or medical waste
- Perishable food or plants
- Cash, precious metals, or high-value items beyond declared limits without prior written approval
Any breach may result in immediate contract termination and notification to the appropriate authorities.
4. Booking & Payment
- All bookings must be confirmed through our website or authorized representatives.
- Payment for the selected term must be made in full and in advance.
- All transactions are processed via secure third-party gateways.
- Failure to make timely payments may result in:
- Restricted access to your unit
- Late fees
- Disposal or auction of stored items in accordance with UAE law
5. Access to Storage Units
- Customers may access their units during regular business hours.
- After-hours access may be granted by request and may incur additional fees.
- We reserve the right to temporarily restrict access due to maintenance, safety, or security reasons.
6. Security & Liability
- Our facility is monitored 24/7 with CCTV surveillance and electronic access systems.
- While we maintain strict security protocols, we are not liable for theft, loss, or damage unless caused by proven negligence.
- Customers are advised to secure their own insurance coverage for stored contents.
7. Termination of Services
- Either party may terminate the storage agreement with a minimum of 7 days’ written notice.
- Items left in the unit beyond the agreed term without renewal will be considered abandoned.
- Abandoned contents may be donated, discarded, or auctioned in compliance with UAE law.
8. Service Modifications
Short Term Storage LLC reserves the right to:
- Modify, suspend, or discontinue any service
- Adjust pricing or policy terms
- Enforce changes immediately upon posting to our website
Continued use of our services after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
- All disputes will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Dubai, UAE.
